Nestled within the Western Andes, Jardín is one of Colombia’s most iconic coffee landscapes. The combination of high altitudes and nutrient-dense volcanic soil allows for a slow maturation of the coffee cherries. This gradual development is the secret behind the bean's natural sweetness and its signature elegant acidity.
This lot represents the best of Jardín’s traditional varieties, processed with the care typical of generational family farming. Even after the decaffeination process, the cup retains the complex microclimate characteristics that make Antioquian coffee world-famous.
Decaffeinated using the sugar cane process. This method uses a naturally derived compound from sugar cane to remove caffeine gently, preserving the coffee’s inherent sweetness and aroma.
