This website is operated by Batch + Brew Coffee Ltd t/a Lindfield Coffee Works (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Our business includes retail coffee sales, subscriptions, equipment, merchandise, courses, and wholesale supply.

2. Products We Sell

 

We sell:

  • Roasted coffee beans

  • Coffee subscriptions

  • Brewing equipment

  • Merchandise

  • Gift cards

  • Barista and hospitality training courses

  • Wholesale coffee and equipment

 

All products are subject to availability. Coffee is a natural product and flavour notes may vary slightly from batch to batch.

 

3. Ordering & Payment

 

Orders can be placed through our online store(s) using secure payment methods including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other approved gateways.

 

Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirms that we have received your order, not that it has been accepted. We reserve the right to cancel or amend an order if:

  • A product is unavailable

  • There is a pricing or description error

  • We suspect fraudulent activity

 

If we cancel an order, you will receive a full refund.

 

4. Shipping & Delivery

 

We ship within the UK and offer limited international shipping upon request.

 

Delivery Options

​

  • Free UK shipping (Royal Mail 48)

  • Royal Mail 24

  • Free local delivery every Thursday, within a 10km radius

 

Royal Mail dispatch time: 1–3 working days. (During busy periods dispatch may take slightly longer.)

Once orders are shipped, delivery times are the responsibility of Royal Mail or the chosen courier.

Local Delivery order cut-off:

To guarantee Thursday delivery, orders must be placed before 12:00pm on Wednesday.

Orders placed after this time will either:

​

  • Be delivered the following Thursday, or

  • Be available for collection from Lindfield Coffee Works (we will contact you to confirm your preference).

 

Local deliveries are typically made between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Thursdays.
Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

 

If You Are Not Home:

 

If no one is available to receive the delivery, we may:

​

  • leave the order in a safe place (if provided at checkout), or

  • leave it with a neighbour

 

If neither is possible, the order will be returned to our Lindfield site for collection.

 

Delivery Eligibility

 

Our system may not automatically detect your postcode.

 

If your address is outside the 10km range, we will contact you to arrange:

  • alternative shipping, or

  • collection from Lindfield.

 

Weather & Access:

 

In rare cases, such as severe weather or road closures, Thursday delivery may be delayed. We will inform you if this happens.

International customs charges (if any) must be paid by the customer.

 

5. Returns & Refunds

 

Roasted Coffee:

 

Due to its perishable nature, we cannot accept returns or refunds on roasted coffee unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
If there is an issue, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

 

Equipment & Merchandise:

 

Returns are accepted only if items are damaged, faulty, or incorrect.

 

To qualify, you must:

​

  • Notify us within 7 days of delivery

  • Provide photos where possible

  • Return the unused item in its original packaging

 

We will issue a refund or replacement once inspected.

 

Courses:

​

Training course bookings are non-refundable.
Bookings may be transferred to another date with at least 7 days’ notice.

 

6. Subscriptions

​

Subscription customers are billed automatically at their chosen frequency.
You may pause, skip, or cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date.
Once a subscription order has been generated, it cannot be refunded.

7. Wholesale Customers

​

Wholesale accounts are subject to separate terms, pricing, and credit arrangements.
We reserve the right to close or suspend a wholesale account at our discretion.

8. Use of Website

​

You must not misuse our website or attempt to gain unauthorised access.
All website content—including text, images, logos, and product descriptions—is the intellectual property of Lindfield Coffee Works and may not be copied without permission.

9. Liability

​

We are not liable for:

​

  • Delays caused by shipping partners

  • Minor variations in coffee flavour or roast profile

  • Losses caused by misuse of equipment

  • Business interruption or indirect damages

 

Our total liability is limited to the value of the order in question.

 

10. Privacy & Data Use

​

We collect personal data to process orders, run our business, and provide customer service.
With consent, we may also use your email address for marketing communications.
We never sell customer data.

11. Governing Law

​

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
